A little teaser/trailer for the ongoing Severn Valley Railway spring steam gala featuring visiting loco LMS Jubilee 'Galatea' which is still masquerading as 45627 Sierra Leone. Galatea is one of two Jubilees which are visiting for the gala. The other Jubilee which is making a welcome return to SVR is 45596 Bahamas. The great thing about having these two Jubilees is that both have different chimney's and its great to compare and contrast. Which Jube is your favourite ? The single chimney Galatea or the double chimney Bahamas.
For me the single chimney of Galatea brings you lots of volume with some nice raw acoustic's, while the crisp and clear sound of Bahamas is also very nice.
