This is part one of a two part video which goes over the history and use of the dao using all of the single-handed dao that LK Chen has produced thus far! This is a special collaboration project with Jeremy Thomas from the Joplin Pakmei Athletic Association. Part one examines the evolution of Dao from the Han to the Tang period. Part two will be on Jeremy's Channel youtube.com/user/Guitarsamurai1134. Part two will cover the history of dao from the Song to Qing dynasties and will include a discussion of our personal favorite dao as well as some suggestions for future models that LK Chen could develop.
