This was done slowly and deliberately, and certainly would need to be trained a full speed to make the techniques truly useful. What I was trying to accomplish here, was to see if it was even possible to catch both weapons. Then, trapping them by twisting the fork. Then, making the trapped weapons a non-threat, whilst following through with a quick attack. Gotta expirament, or your weapon's skills will not reach their full potential. Yes, you're going to get hurt occasionally. That's the price we pay for putting "martial" before "art". If indeed, that is a personal goal. #martialarts #kungfu #martialartstraining

This was an interesting period (around 2011 - 2014) where vendors started making something in between "wall hangers and mall katanas" and "high-budget dojo quality katana". And I think Munetoshi struck an excellent balance between blade quality, fittings, and a budget price; none of my three Munetoshi blades were over the $200 price point, but they still make excellent "light target" cutters.
