Canada's Animal Protection Party is one of 22 Animal and Environment focussed political organizations internationally.
Since 1990 Liz White has overseen the growth of the party, with 17 candidates running in Canada's 2019 Federal Election.
With the Corona Virus currently offering a growing awareness of the connection between animal agriculture and 20th & 21st century diseases, Liz agreed to a Zoom interview to discuss her team's work, and also the implications of these changing times.
"We cannot talk about the environment without including the lives of all who live within our diverse ecosystems. This is how we will address the climate crisis."
"We understand that we must empower people to hold their government accountable and to be partners with us in creating a just, equitable, and inclusive society."
"We are Canada’s only true multi-issue party because we are inclusive of all species. We cannot talk about any societal structure without including all affected by public policy."
