In Ripon, Wisconsin, the birthplace of the Republican Party, former Congresswoman Liz Cheney called on her fellow Republicans to vote for and back Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.

Cheney depicted Republican Donald Trump as a clear and present threat to American democracy. "I ask you to stand in truth, to reject the depraved cruelty of Donald Trump," Cheney said. "And I ask you instead to help us elect Kamala Harris for President."
