The farming life is a cycle. The rice plants on our farm have their life cycle. The weather cycles through the seasons. My work and duties on the farm cycle accordingly. Living the farm life is simply one big cycle.
We are back in the Sacramento Valley, home from vacation and we need to drain our rice fields of winter water. I also take a break from the shovel work to answer some of your rice farming related questions from last year at this time.
