Chivalry was the first true total conversion mod for Rome Total War back in the day, taking the Rome engine and transplanting it to the Middle Ages. Limited somewhat by the old engine, Chivalry did a great job, but has found a new lease of life in the remastered edition of Rome Total War, with faction limits lifted, new graphics and features, and a more stable modding platform.
