A short time lapse video filmed in and around the British city of Liverpool. It was shot on five different days over two months as the weather kept changing and I wanted the best cloud formations I could get.


Equipment used:

Canon EOS 600D with Magic Lantern for the built in intervalometer.
Tokina 11-16mm F2.8 & Tamron 17-50mm F2.8
A very heavy tripod to stop the camera being blown around by the strong wind -- it still got blown around so a couple of shots needed to be stabilized in post.

Camera Settings:

One frame every 3 seconds was used for everything with a 1/50 shutter speed. Most was shot at 8 megapixels for a roughly 4k video image I could then crop in post to HD video and it helped save memory card space.

I used the CineLook picture profile from vision-color.com -- the was no color correction done in post.

Post:

The image sequence was assembled in quicktime 7 and then saved out as HD ProRes and some shots as 4k ProRes.
Then everything was edited in Premiere Pro 6 on a HD video timeline.
