Lauderdale, FL - On February 5, 2019 the suspect pictured in this video entered DSH Oakwood Jewelers, located at 2897 Stirling Rd. The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20’s, wearing a white shirt, blue pants, and a dark colored hoodie.
The suspect requested to view several items which were located in a locked display case. As the salesperson presented the items to the suspect, the suspect suddenly snatched the display which contained several gold items and ran out of the location.
The suspect was seen entering a gold colored Lexus, which was being driven by a second black male. The vehicle then fled north bound on Lakeshore Drive.
The estimated value of the items taken is approximately $100,000.00.
