My 2nd team member pops up a little under odds, Shiny Wurmple! Pretty happy with this one as I did use a Dustox on my original Pearl save file back in the day. A little throwback to Gen 4.
Eterna Forest is genuinely busted in these games. The encounters are fast enough with Sweet Scent/Honey but the 1/4096 plus the 2 Pokemon seen per encounter, it makes for a very easy and comfortable hunt for anyone. I'd genuinely recommend this area if you're new to shiny hunting & you want to sample full odds.

An under odds Colosseum hunt at last. Golden Scizor is mine. This model is incredible. I really wish they had made this its main series colours because its a big improvement on the lime green they gave it. This completes the additional Shadow Trio using the e-Reader cards in Togepi, Mareep & Scizor. Ive had these e-Reader cards for quite some time so to finally hunt these and complete them is great.
Ive since transferred it to Emerald and new save files made ready for my next targets in one of my favourite games.

An under odds fossil at last! Shiny Omanyte joins my Dream Team and is the 5th member. My fossil luck up to now hasnt been the best so this was a welcome change of pace. I really like Omastar but as I mentioned in the video, I dont have a lot of opportunities to use it. It was very low levelled in the original Kanto games so I think FireRed/LeafGreen is a good balance as I can get it as early as 3 badges in. It looks super cute in Colosseum too.
Up next to Shellder which Im excited for though I wont be hunting that for a little bit.

The start of my Sapphire Dream Team Quest! I love Torchic, its always been one of those Pokemon that Ive been a bit disappointed to evolve but Im a big fan of Shiny Blaziken. I love shinies that dont tend to have drastic changes and I feel like Blaziken is a bit unloved by the shiny hunting community for that reason. Its an amazing Pokemon, lets be real here. The original Fire/Fighting is king!
I decided to start this hunt as I have a feeling this is going to be quite a phase heavy quest. A lot of tough hunts like Ralts and Shroomish but I am more than determined to get this quest rolling like my Ruby quest!

Number three already, making amazing progress. I love this shiny so much and its so vibrant in 3rd Gen. I mention in the video but this is also something Ive wanted shiny since I was a kid playing this game for the first time as I used it then. Altaria will make a very valuable member of my team for sure.
Honestly, I really felt like this area was going to make me phase plenty for this target but apparently not. I fully expected to do 2-3 phases. Some good phase luck to start the year off.

It happened finally, after a collective 83,823 encounters I got my pink Spheal. I cannot express how annoying this hunt has been. It’s a nightmare to constantly phase and I certainly won’t be underestimating 255 catch rate Safari Zone Pokemon ever again. The end result is so worth the pain though.
