At this point, Mr. Arata is a Magician who tries to get dragons under his control. He needs their power to take revenge against the king who is to blame for his wifes death. His wife was a demon... This is how far we got. Cant wait to get your ideas :)

So Ive created another character.
Going from 2d to 3d is quite difficult, especially with anime style characters. In this tutorial Im showing you my approach to modelling. The recording is speed up about four times, so the whole process took about 4 hours.
So Ill cover modelling of the face, hair, some cloths and set up some simple shading.
Im using Blender but feel free to use any Software you are comfortable with for your projects.

So Ive practiced some modeling once again. Ive focused on ways to get more detail into my anime style characters. This time Im using cloth simulation and sculpting as well as retopology to archive the result you can see in the video. Ive also created a low poly version, tried to bake normal maps and rigged it in a simple way. Basically it is game ready but not very refined yet. Anyways, I hope you like the project!
