I love doing these long form meditative explorations of soundscapes, so I think I will be doing these for a while to see if I can become more myself in the process. I love yoga and meditation and am currently working on being certified as a yoga teacher, and this music is an extension of my yoga practice. The result this time was kind of somewhere between Tangerine Dream and Vangelis. I used the electric bass on this to create a basic soundscape by recording it through the Morphagene.
This is a live electronic improvisation performance using eurorack, a Moog Grandmother, an ARP-2600, and an OB-6 synthesizer. This was a really raw performance with all mistakes left in, so you can see how things sometimes backfire, like volume adjustments, and the Morphagene just being fussy.
As far as eurorack, I'm using a Make Noise Morphagene and various other supporting modules like the Optomix, the X-Pan, the Quadrax, and the Monsoon.
I hope you enjoy, and please subscribe and leave a comment if this was interesting or helpful to you.
