I've been reading The Great Work of Your Life by Stephen Cope, and I also just watched the Finding Joe documentary about the teaching and thoughts of Joseph Campbell. Both deal extensively with the concept of dharma and the work that you are best suited to do in your life. I love doing these long form meditative explorations of soundscapes, so I think I will be doing these for a while to see if I can become more myself in the process. I love yoga and meditation and am currently working on being certified as a yoga teacher, and this music is an extension of my yoga practice. The result this time was kind of somewhere between Tangerine Dream and Vangelis.
This is a live electronic improvisation performance using eurorack, a Moog Grandmother, an ARP-2600, and an OB-6 synthesizer. I have annotations in the video to hopefully help you learn something about my thought process and about the equipment I'm using as well.
As far as eurorack, I'm using a Make Noise Morphagene, an Instruo CS-L and various other supporting modules like the Optomix, the X-Pan, the Quadrax, and the Monsoon.
I hope you enjoy, and please subscribe and leave a comment if this was interesting or helpful to you.
