Last year's Wellington Jazz Festival commission was the incredible Myele Manzanza's 'Music for a Multi-Polar World'. This new work is a response to the increasingly unstable political environment in which we find ourselves. Musically, it moves fluidly between intense, chaotic passages, and more expressive, melodic solo sections. Check out the full performance at the related video link 👌
