I’m live at J&A Tap in North Liberty, Iowa, to take on Amanda’s Big Breakfast Challenge!
The challenge includes a giant meat lovers omelet, smothered hash browns, a full stack of pancakes, a half order of biscuits and gravy, and a side of toast. Altogether it’s about 5 pounds of food, and challengers only get 30 minutes to finish it. The cost is $30 to attempt.
If completed, the meal is free and winners also earn a voucher for another free meal on their next visit. There’s even a 30-minute waiting period after finishing to make sure no “reversals of fortune” happen before the victory is official.
Will I have what it takes to power through Amanda’s Big Breakfast, or will this massive Iowa-sized breakfast defeat me?
