Welcome to Cape Town! 🇿🇦 Today we are jumping into a Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Tower View for 3 solid hours of live Air Traffic Control on the VATSIM network with my new colleagues at VATSSA!
I'll be working the Cape Town (FACT) Ground frequencies, issuing clearances for non-standard departures and guiding traffic safely around the taxiways and gates, fully supported by the incredible team at VATSSA (VATSIM Sub-Saharan Africa). Whether you're a seasoned VATSIM pilot, an aviation nerd, or just love watching the coordinated chaos of ground operations, pull up a chair and hang out!

If you're thinking "wait, I thought you were a UK Controller?!" then you'd be right! I want to progress and the wait times for Tower training are 1.5 or so years for VATSIM UK, as such I spent a long time thinking about where I wanted to volunteer my time and settled on the friendly team at VATSIM Sub-Sahara Africa. I'm excited to be part of this team covering everything from Cape Verde, to Kenya, Mauritius and South Africa!

WINWING are at it again with some more epic releases and today were reviewing the brand new 737 style PDC3M in the iFly 737 MAX 8 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Well be flying through Storm Amy from Heathrow to Manchester on VATSIM and not only taking a look at the new PDC3M but chatting about the PDC3N (for the NG series 737s) and making full use of not only the new-ish PAP3M MCP panel but also their FMS replica, PFP3N!
