World leaders gather in New York City for the first day of the High-Level General Debate of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) on Tuesday, September 24. Among those expected to speak during the morning session are leaders from Turkey, Colombia, Qatar, South Africa, and Serbia. Those from Argentina, Iran, Chile, and Poland will deliver their speeches in the evening. This year’s high-level week is hosting approximately 150 global leaders in New York City.
