On December 20, 2024 LRPD cop Jesse Hurtado was chatting with another LRPD cop in a parking lot on 12th Street when a call came in. They raced down 12th Street, and when Hurtado turned left on Cedar by the LRPD 12th Street Station, he ran off the road and hit a light pole!
