Even in its oversimplified form I intended to say much more than I managed in this video - especially at the waterline about the constraints of 8 beat film format expectations by today's readers pacing wise, about how the Bard takes simple fairy tale plots or steal old Spanish plays and completely transforms them ... but I guess that's to be expected in a video I've been meditating for a year. I'll try to fill in some of the lacuna in my tier lists of literary critics when I get to them...
