The Aviation is a classic, floral, and slightly tart gin cocktail known for its pale lavender color.
Ingredients
• 2 oz gin
• 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1/2 oz maraschino liqueur (such as Luxardo)
• 1/4 oz crème de violette (violet liqueur)
• Maraschino cherry or lemon peel for garnish
How to Make It
1. Add the gin, lemon juice, maraschino liqueur, and crème de violette into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
2. Shake well until chilled.
3. Strain the liquid into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.
4. Add your garnish
