Lightwave 3D mouse cursor jumping @ldm

Popping, jumping, flicking cursor in Lightwave 3D with a standard mouse and a wacom plugged in. Possibly to do with wacom driver, maybe windows 8+ tablet drivers. Whatever the case disabling wacom tablet through the device manager in windows helped improve the situation but not fix it as it still jumps now and again, seemingly at random.
