For over 20 years, Australian Wildlife Conservancy has led a massive, collaborative fire program in the Kimberley. Our field teams carefully plan and light fires in the early part of the dry season, to limit the spread of bigger, hotter fires that happen later each year. Delivered in partnership with Traditional Owners, the program is dramatically reducing destructive wildfires and promoting fire patterns that benefit biodiversity.
