As a kid I prided myself on being quite the paper airplane mechanic, but as an adult, the magic of crafting and flying paper airplanes has somehow gone by the wayside. It’s not often that a game comes along and reminds me so distinctly of my childhood, but Lifeslide is far more than nostalgic, and in fact, might just be the best relaxing exploration game I’ve seen this year! This indie game surprised me with the amount of atmosphere and fun gameplay there is packed inside a relaxing world. Lifeslide is available now on Apple Arcade, and releases on August 6th for PC, with Nintendo Switch to follow in 2022. Check out my quick preview to see whether you should play Lifeslide.

Like other relaxing indie game adventures Journey and Flower, Lifeslide is filled with casual, simple gameplay and loads of charm. Even comparable to ABZU!
