If you have ever been on a cruise, you know that every ocean liner is equipped with LIFEBOATS that, if needed in an emergency, will lower into the ocean and carry passengers to safety.
Worship songs are like LIFEBOATS. There are great hymns, choruses and contemporary songs that we lean into during trials. And like lifeboats, they keep us safe, lifting us up from the stormy waters and waves that threaten to take us under.
As you reflect on your walk with Christ, I want to open the floor and ask you to shout out some of the LIFEBOAT worship songs, hymns and choruses that have lifted and carried through the storms of life. And if we know them, we’ll sing through a verse and chorus.
