I thought I would be the first YNTV entry to be uploaded, since I was really scrambling to get this done, but noooo, apparently there are five others up before me
HOW DO THESE PEOPLE EDIT SO FAST I DO NOT UNDERSTAND

Ahem anyway.

This little sucker is done! Whoo. And just in time before the deadline, too. Because I have a shorter deadline than the others. I'm leaving today *(Edit: Sorry I mean TOMORROW, XD) for a three-week-holiday, so that means I can't edit in that time.

OK I know what you're thinking. 'Effects diet my ASS,' and you're right, for someone who's apparently exhausted with effects, she's sure spent a lot of time putting them in. However, I really wanted to try out the 3D effects, and so I decided to balance it out with other effects. And this song also seemed ... effecty, to me. xD OK, OK, so I just went with my instinct. Don't worry I have quite a few effectless videos in the making, just hang tight.

...In fact, I was actually hoping this would be a No Effects challenge...
But I was still just as excited when I saw we'd have to make an instrumental video. I'd been itching to make an instrumental for ages, but never really got around to doing it...And I panicked a fair bit because I didn't have any idea what to do xD I considered Muse stuff, then changed my mind and went for (what I thought was) the easy route.

meh, this wasn't easy, but nor was it hard, I guess... However it was downright enjoyable. I love this song. And I picked it also partially because Coldplay is one of my favorite bands and I found it absolutely blasphemous that I haven't vidded to their stuff yet :O

Ooh and, also...I know we were STRONGLY encouraged to use voiceovers, and there are none in this video. Now, I did think about this, and I realized, 'what quotes would I put in there anyway? Some cliche, cheesy, over-used emotional bit of dialouge that everyone's heard before? Not gonna happen.' I decided to just let the clips speak for themselves and resonate love and life and all that other groovy jazz :]

but moving on...So, you see those pretty little effects? Like the ones at 0:43? 3D effects, baby. CatGv's video pretty much blew me away, and, well, one thing led to another. I decided to get off my lazy ass and watch a tutorial to see how it was done. I swear, mucking around with that thing was SO. Anyway...I suppose that's all. I can't think of anything else to ramble on. Oh, no, wait, I can!!
You're not going to believe this. I started rendering this, went to sleep, when I woke up IT WAS STILL RENDERING WTF XD Dear God my Vegas is slow.

Oh, and I got a bit lazy towards the end...hope it isn't too noticeable ^^"

Heh...For some reason I REALLY love the El Dorado parts, probably because the movie is my current drug (and so is the pairing, but that's besides the point X3)

PS/ I actually never thought that the scene with Kiara & Kovu in the cookie cutters would be so popular...xD
