First off I want to say sorry for not uploading anything (not that a whole lot of people even noticed) but I promise to come out with some BANGER videos soon! The reason I'm not uploading a whole lot of anything is because its summer, I am out and about hanging out with friends (All Covid-19 restrictions are lifted where I live) and going on many trips and of course, working a lot. So long story short, I'm just living life and enjoying the summer:) but soon I will be coming back strong with lots of interesting video ideas!
Okay so about this level, I can't really remember where I saw this but somehow I managed to make my way around to playing it and... I loved the gameplay so much. There is something very smooth and simple about it? It's almost as if a lot of levels now a days just spam portals together and call it "fun" and to be honest, it all feels the same now. But this one has a special charm in terms of it's "simplicity" and by that I mean, its smooth and feels straight forward and fun to play. And last thing I would like to point out is Skele's part, the gameplay is pretty unique but the transition from the ufo to the ship is pretty annoying. I mean I have definitely played worse but its very sudden and I died there quite a few times. But other than that, I have to say this level is perfect within the gameplay terms:) good job!
About the decoration, its pretty good as well, some parts are a bit off and seem a little random to me such as the part at 0:17 and 0:51 but I wouldn't say they are "bad" but just seem weird. The part at 0:17 is just a bit too messy and all over the place for me. When you have clean design parts such as Leib or Gusearth it just doesn't really clash to me... But yet again that is just my opinion. Still, not a bad part but as I said just could maybe be more clean? And for 0:51 it is the opposite to me, its clean and it looks okay, but its a little too bland and simple? if you look at the block design and some of the decoration it just seems too empty. Again, its not bad but I would have made the block design a little more complex and less "basic" I guess. Still, those are just little things to me so I'm not going to clown those parts at all.
Overall this is a really great megacollab featuring Leib, Gusearth, ItsHybrid, GDSkele, Mzero, 8BitFudge, and Coliwog. Some of these name's I have heard of and are popping off in the community right now! I would give this level a solid 8.5/10. I do not believe this level will get epic but definitely a feature for easy demon:)
