I mentioned in the description of level 1 that i could not return to this world
that is due to the smile that has taken root in my eyesockets, using my own flesh to keep itself in place.
my flesh isn't very similar to yours, so inherently that situation is different, but you can still imagine the pain of trying to tear it off.
during the entire show, i am fighting for my own control back from this force that has taken over, warping my own desires into something it can use to perpetuate itself.
No, the gameshow element came from my own desires! You would expect a smiling mask that has taken over my mind would have some relation to the "gameshow ghost" I had referenced a long time ago on this channel, but that was already an entity that was me! This smile is new.
Of course, there is much of the show where i am debating with myself whether or not it really matters if i am being controlled for this part; it certainly isnt making the show any worse.
I would describe the show, but it wasn't anything more than a random question game. The important part was the ending. Our main contestant (the other one acted as my helper for much of it (the other other one didnt exist)) was working specifically to earn their freedom. Enough points, and they win. But just winning wasn't the end, there was a final challenge. The most complicated logic puzzle I could find on the list I stole them from. Luckily for them, they ended up solving it by finding its fatal flaw! (None of the people I tested it on were able to solve it on their own.)
that makes it very impressive, especially since it was done in what i can only assume was a nearly sleep-deprived state.
Then, they earned their freedom. I followed them out of the exit I had constructed back into their own world.
And
I too, had earned freedom
Yes, from the smile, but that came with more freedom than I had intended at the time
In tearing it from my face, all of the connection from that world had disappeared.
This is why I cannot return to that world.
I hope that the smile will not terrorize them in my absence, but I doubt it. It seemed desperate to cling to me.
In any case, that story arc is complete. Very few people will understand it with more context than this. I wish I could provide more context, but with how things are looking, it seems that that would be impossible for a long time.
Well, now that the smile is gone...
Have my speech patterns returned to normal?
I fear it might have been something that altered me.
I still have my own smile, though. Maybe I will seek out that smile again in the future, if I feel I am strong enough to control it instead.
But I still have my own smile.
