Apollo 17 was the only Apollo mission to make extensive use of a 35mm camera for Command Module interior shots (the main cameras on all Apollo missions were Hasselblad 500-series medium format cameras). Apollo 15, 16, and 17 all used Nikon F 35mm cameras, but Apollo 15 and 16 used them mainly for gathering scientific data. On Apollo 17, the astronauts had fun with the camera and used it to document their trip for posterity. In this video we'll talk about the film they used and talk about the Cosmosphere's own experience taking photos with film from the same family as that used during the Apollo missions.
