In a pile of old camera brochures I found the Record Mirror that came with a free EP single. It turns out that I had spent 48pence in March 1986.
It just so happens that 3 days later I saw New Order at Poole Arts Centre, Poole, England, where, they played shellshock, their new single at the time.
This free single was featured in my previous video 'Freebies & Flexis from the 80s'. I have tried to do this video in the style of the great Richard Warwick where he does some great videos going through old issues of the NME paper @Vinyl-Heaven-And-Hell2023
How do you rate the magazine out of 10?
How do you rate my narration out of 10?
"Sub-culture" is the tenth single by English rock band New Order. It was released as the second and final single from their third studio album, Low-Life (1985) on 28 October 1985 by Factory Records.
In 1986, the Prime Minister of the UK was still Margaret Thatcher. She was Prime Minister from 1979 to 1990.
