I don't really need an excuse to play a game as beautiful as this but with Supergiant's new title, Pyre, heading our way in a few weeks time I've decided to reacquaint myself with Red and and bask in the glory of - Transistor.
In their follow up to Bastion, Supergiant Games brought us something just as beautiful with a visual and auditory aesthetic that that leaves you with tingles. Transistor tells the story of Red a singer who gets caught up in an underground fight against the shady cabal who control the city of Cloudbank. Armed with a talking sword that houses the digitized souls of fallen citizens you fight back against the robot functions oppressing the world.
