Theyve made quite a few modfiles for both SM5 and notITG, and theyve also done quite a few collabs with other people in the community, too!
This is one of those times where I added extra graphics just for one thing.
Simfile changes:
an SSC to load the lua instead of an xml
Visual changes:
The YouTube section has extra graphics (and probably better scaling). I bet youll recognize at least one of the graphics
Shader changes:
fisheye.frag - Scaled x axis
Mod changes:
Added consistent drawsize
Added tinyusesminicalc
Turned a 100 reverse to 99.9 reverse to avoid judgment & combo swapping
Translated nITG squareperiod to SM5 squareperiod
Full range dark means 85 dark becomes 70 dark
Internal changes:
Replaced the Extra Player with a Def.NoteField
The BG AFT is turned into an SM5 AFT
The other AFTs are turned into ASTs
xywh isnt real, but I can replace some of them with FullScreen
I literally just grabbed the Miso from from the OpenITG Simply Love theme
- The one from SM5 Simply Love didnt have the same spacing...
Used ratios to scale things like zoom, position and bob
For the gifs, I started them with animate(false) and animate(true) them when visible
Some of the gifs were Strangely Fast (mostly the glitter ones)
Used some rotafterzoom(false)
Scaled the zoom out visuals much better
Scaled down the cursor graphic and used SetTextureFiltering(false)
Added some basezooms sometimes
Translated nITG notedata into OutFox notedata
setFOV becomes fov
halgun becomes hideholdjudgments
arrowpath becomes notepath
Incremented some columns and modspline points

Theyve made quite a few files.
I dont think it was too bad of a port. Also, go check widescreen.lua for some small preferences. Set the first boolean to true to have it match the video.
Simfile changes:
Theres an SSC now so it loads a lua file and not an xml file.
Visual changes:
The ending doesnt quite line up because its now P1 instead of P3 and I had to make the rotation ease not happen too early.
Shader changes:
glow.frag - Scaled x axis
Mod changes:
Attempted avoiding 100% reverse so the judgment doesnt move
Added tinyusesmincalc and consistent drawsize
SquarePeriod needed to be translated to their SM5 values
Full Range Dark means I have full 0-100 range instead of 50-100 range
Internal changes:
P3 & P4 replaced with P1 & P2 for the ending
Added more quads to avoid stretching the vignette sprite
Replaced the AFT setup with a simple zbuffer quad for the very beginning
Had to increment columns
Used the judgment child checker to help with the judgment font swap
Disabled the dots on the notepath (If your build isnt new enough, you can comment out line 49 of mods.lua)
Used ratios to scale things like position, zoom, shadowlength, fardistz, customtexturerect and movement
Made use of rotafterzoom(false)
To do a note fade in, gradients only need 2 points
font_position.lua needed some invalid escape sequences removed
Fixed up some strange coding choices
arrowpath becomes notepath
girth becomes width
hidenoteflashes becomes hidenoteflash
Had to change some parts of the BG depending on what preferences were set in widescreen.lua
log10 was deprecated in lua 5.2, so I used log with the second parameter
Added some basezooms
Had to decrement some spots to counter incrementing in other spots
used animate to limit how much debug output ffmpeg throws throughout the file
confusionzoffset becomes confusionoffset
We dont have a fade that takes all four sides as params, so I set them using the individual functions
xywh isnt real, but I have xy & zoomto
