Moving on to special stage 2, we face Punk. His stage mostly isn't that big of a problem, but there are a couple parts that can be tricky. There is one part in particular that I found so irritating to do without special weapons that I finally caved and used them (trust me, you'll know it when you see it). Punk's stage seems to want to trap you and psych you out. This carries over to the boss fight, where Punk really only does two things but can still catch you off-guard easily. He throws Screw Crushers across the room, and they can either pass harmlessly in front of Mega Man, go toward him and require jumping over, or go above him, and the last of which is probably the easiest to get hit by; even though standing still will make them miss, the temptation to jump (right into them) is strong. He can also curl up and spin-dash across the room at one of a couple different heights. Beating him gives you the Screw Crusher, which fires in an upward arc (and is very spammable considering the sheer amount of ammo it has).
