Mario Golf for Gameboy Color originally released in North America on October 5, 1999; received a 3DS Virtual Console release on October 11, 2012; and now on Nintendo Switch Online on March 12, 2024. This broadcast is on the NSO version for convenience. I set out to complete every objective in the main story - this did not include match games against Luigi, Wario, and Mario.
In this first segment, I went ahead to the champs lounge and challenged Putts. My intention to start with the matches is to unlock Golf Guru's Pitch n' Putt as soon as possible, so it doesn't become near impossible with an overleveled out-of-control character. Putts is a pushover, so I give him what-for. Like other opponents, his name is a bit of a misnomer as his putts are not good, though the rest of his game isn't too sharp either.
