Command & Conquer: Tiberium Essence is a modification for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars that aims to bring the look and feel of the game closer to that of Tiberian Sun, exchanging tanks for walkers, restoring the organic look of Tiberium, and make numerous other changes. The mod was originally released in 2008, and as of 2025 exists as two primary versions: v1.6, which is compatible with the campaigns of the base game, and 2.0, which includes further changes, but does not work with all base game singleplayer content.
In 2025, RedDeadSmeg released a campaign remake of Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, followed by a 2026 remake of the campaigns of its expansion, Firestorm. The remake includes all 18 missions of the original. Notable differences include a few distinct structures for CABAL, the use of infantry squads, the presence of the Forgotten as distinct units, and the absence of some features such as destructible cliffs.
