As we trudge toward the throne room, hopefully the queen will see fit to bestow upon us a mystical fan that will extinguish the flames. If not, I guess will just have to take it by force, or maybe just wind up in a super-long boss battle against an entirely new character I'd never seen or heard of. Why are they using all this water in the Volcano level?
