This black and white port of 'The Ancient Art of War' from Brøderbund was released in 1985, one year after the IBM PC release of 1984. It was probably released with the Mac 512k in mind.
Considered the grand daddy of real-time-strategy games, this featured unit condition, terrain advantage, supply line mechanics with villages, squad formations. You could even create your own campaign maps. It featured beautiful artwork throughout and used some famous war strategists and tacticians of history.
Feel free to watch in augmented speed, it is relatively slow. I already increased the speed of most fights by a factor of 3x.
The video signal comes straight from 4 wires from inside the Macintosh Plus, into a RGB2HDMI device that I self-assembled by using the info in this project: github.com/hoglet67/RGBtoHDMI

) and makes its way to a PC via a HDMI usb capture device. The sound signal is brought from the headphone jack straight into a mic in on my modern PC.
This footage is _NOT_ emulated, its captured at the source. The pixels are tripled in size for modern viewing screens. The original size is 512x342, integer multiplied to 1536x1026, the rest being filled with black.
