The Heart Nebula is a huge emission nebula in Cassiopeia. In this video I attempt to photograph this deep sky object with my camera and a telescope from my back garden in the UK.

I had such an enjoyable night staying out and photographing this nebula. I've always wanted to photograph it but never could. Now I think I did a good start at doing IC 1805 justice. I hope you enjoy.

I was using some new equipment in this video, namely this was actually the debut of my new dedicated astro camera, the ZWO ASI 071mc Pro and it was the first real time giving the iOptron CEM70 a road test. The final image is made up of 4.4 hours in total of 5 minute sub-exposures. Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and edited in Photoshop.

This video for some reason took ages to sort out. It didn't want to render and as such it's about 2 weeks later than I had anticipated! But that gave me more time to refine it really.

$Lets Photo The Soul Nebula In Narrowband I got my hands on an Altair Astro 183m Tec cooled Mono astronomy camera, so lets photo the Soul Nebula in Narrowband! The Soul Nebula is an emission nebula located in the constellation of Cassiopeia, right next to the Heart Nebula. In this video Ill be using Baader Narrowband filters and my mono camera along with my Skywatcher 72ED to capture this wonderful nebula. I only had the mono camera for a bit, as I lost enthusiasm for the camera after not too long. So since it was killing my desire to do astrophotography, it had to go. Regretful but necessary. The Skywatcher 72ED Pro was a great fit for the Hypercam 183m. I enjoy using Skywatcher Telescopes, especially when it allows for a nice wide field of view with the 183ms small chip.
