This thing will not disturb the substrate or plants when you pour in water during a water change.
I know this tank doesn't have any gravel, but my previous tank had sand, and this did not disturb it.

I also use this on my planted tank, and it works really well, especially for partial water changes.

This is a low profile diy tank. The height is only 24cm, or 9.5 inches. On a regular tank, it'll work much better.

I didn't mean to pour water on Geronimo. I didn't see him b/c I was above the tank pouring water from a bucket.
