Finally!! The FIRST Kermit Olvier sighting in my “As Seen In” series on Sharon Stone. In this series, I Identify Hermès scarves in movies, shows and photos and post a new one every Sunday! If you know Hermès scarves you’ll know why this ID is exciting and if you’re here to learn, let me explain! Many scarves that I see in my “As Seen In” series are fairly common scarves that are easy to procure. They are ones that have been rereleased multiples times (typically), but this one is a grail! Kermit Oliver is one of the most collectible Hermès artists right now. His back story as a postal worker and artist from TX has gained lots of attention and his work is extraordinary. When I saw Sharon Stone wearing this scarf and saw the level of detail at the center I immediately thought of Kermit Oliver, but second guessed myself, asking, “Could it really be a Kermit Oliver”?! And after comparing the details, it was! Plus costume designer, @byellenm, loves Hermès scarves too, so it definitely makes sense. This one is “Les Ameriques” and was released in 1992, a year before this movie, “Intersection” was released. Such an exciting one to see on the silver screen and worn absolutely beautifully. #hermes #hermesscarf #kermitoliver #hermessilk #hermescollector #hermesgrail #sharonstone
