Let Your Light Shine | Isaiah 60 | Motivating sermon by Pastor JD Howell
What do you do when the world feels darker than ever? In this motivating message from Isaiah 60, Pastor JD Howell reminds us that even in the middle of spiritual darkness, confusion, discouragement, and moral collapse, God’s light still shines. Isaiah spoke to a people surrounded by devastation and captivity, yet God gave them a message of hope: “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee” (Isaiah 60:1). This chapter points forward to the coming reign of Jesus Christ, when His glory will cover the earth, the nations will worship Him, and every wrong will finally be made right.

When others complain, believers are called to shine. When bitterness and disappointment come, Christians are called to shine. Our hope is not found in present circumstances, but in the certainty that Jesus Christ will reign forever in glory.
