Story: They say that Soldiers are heartless. They can't love. But, when they are weakened by things that have shaken their core; it leaves them open to empty feelings from others. When she had left her heart open, it allowed him to come in. He let her know everything about him, except the side of him he was waiting to show her. He was a monster. She wanted to be able to understand him, but when she tried...he pushed her away. Violently. Violence was a common thing among them as soldiers. Fighting was normal. But, when it was using brute force and fire, it wasn't normal.
It was his way of pushing her away and the monster in him coming forth to show her his true colors.
Only way to fix it all: End him.
Time and time again she had heard him recite lyrical like poems from a book he cherished most of all. She thought the words mere fantasy and romance. But when she finds that plunging them forth into a fight to end all fights, it awakens the Goddess. She truly had been watching over him. And in exchange for her life, he was willing to fall for the other Goddess in his life.
Time moves on and Lightning finds that a gift he had left her was still upon her table. A knife, how practical. But it isn't till the news reports about the Goddess' appearance that she realizes what has happened.
"...Stupid man. How could you do that for me?"
Sidenote: You guys better enjoy this or else I'm gonna tear my hair out over how many times I had to keep myself from totally squeeing over my own work! Originally, I wasn't gonna add the extra things of a Texture and Overlay because I had tried once before on another work...unaware that I should've saved it w/o audio then READDED it after the fact.
Either way, much help on the Rain overlay look goes to keybladewizard49 and AnimeLover147 ^^ Thanks ladies for your opinions about this before I uploaded it
