Story: Regrets are much collections of things we've done in the past. Things we wish to toss away like the old friends we no longer speak to because they hold stand on your present life. All they do is bring you down. Lightning could see herself falling through memories of moments of regrets, painful fights, and things she can't change.
They're there.
And they're here to stay.
But, that isn't the end.
Haunted by a transparency of her past with Genesis, she starts to find herself becoming more pulled into the hole that these memories want to create. There is no light at the end of the tunnel. No happy ending. Its all they can tell her, but, upon finding herself at the altar of the Goddess. She sees her final regret, giving in to the fact that she was how she saw herself.
Someone that wanted her past to realize, wake up and face reality.
Since her past has had its way with Genesis reading a private book of Lightnings, causing her to strike out at him. Even after she told him to stop. To stop reading her private thoughts. And using them for his own deadly strikes at her.
Tearing up, she finds that the only way to rid herself of those is to step out into the light that begins to enshroud her. A light filled with love, support, people that are willing to lend an ear to what hurts her. A light at the end of the tunnel. Something she never though she could see.
Because as the light fades in around her, "Its always darkest...before the dawn."
Sidenote: I made this purely because 1) Wanted to edit to this for a bit, and 2) Its meant as a meaningful dedication towards the number one Fangirl of LightningGenesis I've befriended. As a way to raise her spirits a bit. She's been dealing w/some matters, and figured this would be a bit of a cheer up.
XD Also, some of the memory flash backs you see overlapping some of the moments at times. Those aren't new clips. Some are parts for other BETAs XD One is out of a WIP to "Mirror Mirror" by M2M, another and a number of others are from the upcoming Paradox Ending for the LightningGenesis raveling through my Channel.
Outside of those, everything else is new XD
