First off, thank you all so much for the overwhelming kindness on my anniversary video with Black jack, it means so much.
Now I have another emotional video to contribute haha.
I've always been such a liar when it comes to this horse. It always feels like I can let her go, but then something always pulls me back to her at some point or another.
The last several months have been really hard on my mental health. I won't go into detail, but I've been struggling severely with holding onto hope and finding purpose in my life.
Something just clicked in my head last week and I decided to go see Cheyenne for the first time this year. I went to see her yesterday, and the impact was unbelievable. I walked away yesterday feeling like I really wanted to live again. I didn't even ride her, but just being near her and watching her be worked and properly trained was something I needed.
I went to see her again today to take pictures and watch her in a mini obstacle event. She did absolutely amazing, and when I started to hear the other riders compliment her and call her an "amazing horse" and other things it took everything I had not to burst into tears. I was so proud of her and everything that she is. In my heart I'll always consider her "my" horse, because in another life she would have been. She has a hold on my heart in a way that nothing else has.
After so much time apart it was so trippy to look up and be able to see her standing there, with that coat I have memorized so well and watching her be ridden and just seeing her. It has helped me so much, and it has honestly made me want to live again.
I believe she saved my life yesterday, and I could not be more thankful.

My new lease horse, Willow!
Hes a 15 year old Arabian, and hopefully soon to be my little jumper! He and I will be working with a trainer every week to work him up to jumps and hopefully we can show a bit in the future too!
This was only our third ride so please no critique, Im not used to riding hot horses but hes such a sweetheart and I think hes the perfect step up for me. Im really excited for our journey, and its funny to me how much he looks like Blackjack. :) Edge of Town [New Horse]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/_wOKGN44z5o/mqdefault.jpg)
