I'm sure some people have noticed that I haven't really posted any videos about Mack lately.
This is more or less his goodbye video. With the way things are going Willow is going to become my main riding horse. He and I have the opportunity to jump and show together, which is everything I've been looking for for nearly 5 years.
That said, that means I've had to sacrifice my time with this wonderful boy. I owe Mack so much. It's crazy to think that if I hadn't been in the right place at the right time I would have never been offered to ride him. It was a lot to return to the place where I lost Cheyenne and spent so many years mourning, but most of you already know how much Mack has helped me heal and make new memories in a place that truly broke me. Not to mention the times that he and I actually got to jump. It has meant everything to me to rewrite the old and painful memories and replace them with new and happy ones. I got to accomplish everything I wanted for me and Cheyenne. I owe him the world.
Mack is such a kind and wonderful boy with so much love and warmth in his heart. No moment spent with him has ever felt wasted. Unfortunately, the closer I draw to graduation and the more time I invest in Willow means I cannot dedicate much time to him anymore. I hope with all of my heart that he finds his own person again. He deserves so much love. I just know I have to make peace with the knowledge that I cannot save every horse that comes into my life, as much as I want to.
Thank you for everything, Macaroon. I'll miss our time together.
