On January 14, 2021 I got up out of bed before the sun rose. My mind was stressed out and my 84-yr-old mother was admitted to the hospital for a bad UTI and low sodium. She didn't even know where she was at or what was going on and her many other ailments caused her to call her children often in tears and pain. I was trying to manage her crisis 1500 miles away and if I was there in Illinois close by there would be nothing I could do either except be on the phone . We were all in this covid-19 nightmare. She had just come from an assisted-living nursing home where there was a bad outbreak of covid.
I could elabotrate more, but let's say my mind was not at ease. So, when I picked up the guitar it was this tune that fell into my lap and I finished it within an hour. It helped ease my mind and I share it with you to ease your mind in these troubled times as we all try to deal with dodging covid. The crisis has caused so much difficulty in people's lives and we still have a ways to go at this time, but now things are soon to be getting better and this storm of life will sometime pass.
Music and painting has helped me through these difficult times and I still have to perservere as you do too. I have written a bunch of new songs and this is one of them. It's just a demo at this point, and I hope to get a keyboard work station and some digital recording equipment to do it right. You can help by buying anything at my website raytutaj.com or on my amazon page. It may take me a couple years to get all these songs recorded the way I hear them in my head. I just hope I have enough energy or otherwise these tunes will become lost. I guess that's why I am posting the rough demos here so they are at least recorded in some form.
I hope you like it and mostly I hope it eases your mind, too.
