Dans sa nouvelle enquête, QUATRE PATTES révèle qu’un ancien ours de spectacle est encore exploité 📸 avec le public, sans aucune barrière ni mesure de sécurité ❌. Ces pratiques mettent en danger ⚠️ les visiteurs et causent du stress à l’animal : les ours, même nés en captivité, restent des animaux sauvages puissants et imprévisibles. But Tim… isn’t. 💔
We’re still being denied the chance to give Tim the same happiness.
Right now, he continues to suffer in unsuitable conditions in Slovenia, while the authorities block his relocation, and his owner, Mr Rožmanec, refuses to give him up.
Tim deserves better. He deserves this life too. 🧡

Rescued from harsh conditions in Czechia last year, cared for in a zoo, and transported across Europe in a Big Cat Ambulance, Tajmir finally arrived at his forever home FELIDA Big Cat Sanctuary. 🐯

Born in 2016 at Seaview Predator Park in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Samson’s early life was shaped by captivity. In 2021, when the park closed permanently, the owners made the decision to surrender Samson and his uncle, Tom. Thanks to the dedicated team at LIONSROCK Big Cat Sanctuary, both lions were given a second chance at life. 🍀
Animals, like Samson, are often used in tourist attractions practices, such as cub petting, walk-with opportunities, or for viewing purposes. They end up in the inhumane trophy hunting industry and killed for their bones and other body parts. 💔
Today, Samson is safe and thriving at LIONSROCK, living in a species appropriate habitat designed with his wellbeing at heart. The sanctuary is committed to providing the best possible care, allowing Samson and the other big cats to live with dignity, comfort, and the highest quality of life possible. 💚

Winter is a magical season for the brown bears in our sanctuaries. ❄️🐻
As the temperatures drop, our on-site teams prepare everything the bears need to rest safely and comfortably through the colder months.
They enjoy:
🌲 Spacious forest areas perfect for digging their own dens.
🪵 Wooden cabins, artificial dens, and specially designed bear houses for those who can’t—or prefer not to—dig.
📝 Personalised care plans tailored to each bear’s unique needs.
🍯 A nutrient-rich autumn diet that helps them build up energy for winter.
Some bears wander out of their dens from time to time, grabbing a snack or exploring before settling back into rest mode. Others—like our youngsters Runa and Kodi—are still learning and adjusting to their winter routine, taking their time to understand this new world. 🐻
Every bear is different, and we’re here to give each one the safe, peaceful winter they deserve. 💚
