I made a play pen out of cardboard boxes so my leopard gecko can have more outside-of-cage time. This is for enrichment and so I don't have to constantly hover over him when I take him out. I chose to do this because there are a lot of hiding places and areas I can easily lose him in my house, so I wanted a safe area for handling and letting him explore. This set up might also work for a bearded dragon, but would not be appropriate for anything that is good at climbing, such as crested geckos.
