I took my axolotl to the vet for the very first time! I did not book this appointment because my axolotl is sick; it isn't. This is to meet the vet, have an initial examination, and address a few areas of concern I have. This being my first "exotic" pet, I don't want to wait until there's a problem to seek out a veterinarian. And I'm glad I didn't wait, because finding someone who will treat an axolotl was not an easy task.
