This is the first LEGO video game that I have played. Not having seen the movies before, I found the story to be a bit disjointed and confusing, though I would guess this is made for fans of those movies and not people like me, who just in general enjoy medieval lore. The game does seem to be filled with optional puzzles, which looks amazing for expanding both playable character depth as well as NPC quest lore.
One thing I want to add is that LEGO games are multiplayer games, and I think this would be a fun couch co-op game for friends that enjoy the series.
