This is the miniboss of the Lakebed Temple. To start the battle, simply enter the room and look up.

After you take care of his minions, this guy will jump high into the air and attempt to crush you. When he does, watch for his shadow so that he doesn't land on you, and quickly move out of the way; if you succeed, he will be stunned, and you can rush in for an attack.

Next, as shown in this video, you can simply fire a bomb arrow into his mouth when he briefly sticks his tongue out (it will be targetable for a moment). This will instantly stun him and allow you to kill him rather quickly.

After the battle, you get the Clawshot! (Still think the hookshot is cooler, though)
